Diving into a Sea of Grass

This artwork was created from a memory I had as a child.

I would pretend I was an olympic diver and I would dive off the front steps of our house onto the front lawn.

As I emerged from the depths of the grass victorious, the birds on the telephone wire sounded out a grand applause.

A little piece of memory, emotion and imagination mixed together to celebrate a playful moment from my childhood.
